FAQ: Interlink® Point of Sale Q: Where can I use Interlink®? A: At any member merchant across the United States. Search for member merchants here. Q: I have a savings account -- not a checking -- linked to my ATM Card. Why can't I use my card at an Interlink® merchant to pay for merchandise? A: Savings accounts are intended to have less transaction activity than checking accounts. Generally they cannot be accessed for point of sale purchases. Q: I need $20.00 worth of gas and I have just under $100 available in my account. Why is my transaction being denied? A: Fuel stations pre-approve a set dollar amount
before allowing their customers to start pumping fuel. Some stations seek a pre-approval of at least $100. If your available balance does not meet this requirement, your transaction will be denied. Q: What can I do if I find myself in the above situation? A: Withdraw cash from a Cirrus® ATM Network machine and pay for your fuel with cash. Q: My ATM Card is linked to a checking account with enough available funds for the purchase I was trying to transact with an Interlink® merchant. Why was the transaction denied? A: Merchants subscribe to a service that processes these transactions for them. If the service provider has not updated its database or its
system is not available, your account may not be accessible. Please notify us of the incident using our online ATM Card Support form. Related FAQs: Cirrus® ATM Network Visa® Check Card |
